The built in email client does not support html emails and if you log on to hotmail on the web it recognises my Universal as a PPC so it doesn't allow html!

Why?

Daily Dilbert and the Times Online are just 2 examples of HTML emails I receive which I can't view.

On T-Mobs W'n'W I have unlimited 3G access so it's fast and cheap. Is there a way round this silly restriction?

I've found an html email reader but it doesn't support hotmail ;)

Any advice would be appreciated.

Thanks

Don't use hotmail ;-)

Seriously though, some of the third-party email programs support html. HOWEVER, they looked pretty crappy. I couldn't even read the daily dilbert in it as it resized the image to fit.

Also, try using the Hotmail website via the Opera Web Browser. It doesn't announce itself as being a PDA, so the site gives you the full desktop version.

Thanks Fraser, you're right about hotmail but I use it for all my junk and until I can get my exchange to accept [email protected] (it bounces unless an account is set up) I'm still going to use hotmail for a while.

I hadn't downloaded Opera as I would only have used it and all the time I was with Orange I couldn't afford it - now I'm with T-Mob I can start using my Exec to its full potential again ;)

Just tried Opera and it works - zoom 200% and Dilbert is readable ;)

Thanks again
