Guest marksurry Posted April 7, 2006 Report Posted April 7, 2006 Just taken delivery of a new SPV C600 and I'm loving it. One short coming though. I would like to see an auto key lock on this device but can't find it. Has the C600 got this feature? I know you can manually lock the keypad but I often forget to do this. I may have to train my brain to lock the keypad
Guest hoyler30589 Posted April 7, 2006 Report Posted April 7, 2006 hi, there is a program that does exactly what you want. i used it on my c500 but not tried it on my c600. A search on the forum will find it but i think this is the link http://maniac.fschreiner.de/en/index_en.htm ;)
Guest tmohammad Posted April 7, 2006 Report Posted April 7, 2006 I use the device lock function (start, settings,security....). This asks for a password to unlock device. It used to allow a 1 digit password prior to my ROM update, now the password must be at least 4 digits! Works ok.
Guest marksurry Posted April 7, 2006 Report Posted April 7, 2006 Where did you get your ROM update? I noticed a ROM update thread on here but it uses a German version, well the install programme said it would be German. Can't read German so I cancelled the upgrade. Wondering if there was a genuine UK version available? Thanks for the help with the key lock problem though.

I've installed SP5m version on my SPV C600 and it's working good. It's better than original SPV ROM.
