MDA Vario TMobile Download manager

The T-Mobile UK website has an "update" available for the vario.

The filename is RUU_Prodigy_1060204_105_11210_TMO_UK_Ship.exe

Has anyone experience of what the benefits of this proposed upgrade are and furthermore, from my handset how can I establish that I don't already have it installed.

My device only came out of the box on Thursday !!

toon9, I reckon your device will already have this rom version installed. Go to Settings > System > Device Information to confirm.

Don't know why I didn't post it really, anyway, my device information states this :

ROM Verison : 1.6.2.4.WWE

ROM Date : 11/15/05

Radio Verison : 01.12.10

Protocol Verison : 4.0.13.23

ExtROM version : 1.6.2.105

Can anyone confirm if these are the latest ?

Yes they are mate - in terms of the latest T-MOBILE ROM - there are newer other make ROMS out though, including some with Push Mail added.

The key is the filename...

As you can see from your settings, the 1.6.2.4 is mentioned in the filename of the ROM update, as is the 1.12.10 bit, and the 105 of the Extended ROM - that means the ROM update, is the same file as you have on already...
