C500/SP3 ROM's question...

Hi guys,

I'm looking to reflash my C500...which of the two ROM's listed below would you suggest?

SP3_NRE_2.1.331.3

SP3_WWE_2.4.33.11

I understand that the NRE is UK English as opposed to the American English found in the WWE...but it seems the WWE is the more recent ROM? Any tips and suggestions?

Also is there a (snip) link to the MoDaCo rules for guidance on warez policy (\snip)

Any help appreciated...

Fair enough. Your post could have been interpreted either way and I thought it best to edit. I apologise too if my lame attempt at humour caused offence ;)

For the record, there is no official (legal) WM05 upgrade for your phone. Eten & HP released upgrades for some of their products but there have been none for Smartphones.

I recently upgraded my Orange SPV C500 to the SP3_WWE_2.4.33.11 without any problem, works well for me have no idea on the other quoted.

From the about page it states the following maybe you'll know what they mean.

Version 4.21.1088(Build 15045.2.6.0)

Radio Version 1337.0.42_0.03.28

ROM update Versions:

Operator 2.4.33.11

Manufacturer 2.5.33.102

Microsoft 4.21.15045.0

Language 2.5.33.102

File System 4.21.15045.0

Careful, talking about illegal roms is *really naughty* and might make a moderator *cry* ( or at least edit yor post) - unless you have an official WM(200)5 rom? never seen a WM5 rom myself :P
