Guest baronebirra Posted April 10, 2006 Report Posted April 10, 2006 Hi there!! I have a memory problem with my 8310: only 1.20Mb of storage memory on the phone... But everything is installed in SD: all programs, IE temporary internet files, emails, mp3...everything. I looked for big files or big folders with a file manager but nothing. Do you have any suggestion? Thank you very mutch Giorgio

Thank you very mutch Giorgio <{POST_SNAPBACK}> welcome to the forum baronebirra ;) i had this once with my qtek 8310 as well. i was installing the .NET compact framework and realised i didnt have enough space to download the cab file! so i ended up effectively 'losing' 5 mb of my internal memory. The only way you can solve this is by hard reseting your phone. or at least it worked for me. phil

Giorgio <{POST_SNAPBACK}> yes it does but as you have installed all your programs on your storage card it means you can simply back up your start menu because hard reseting doesnt erase your SD card. so the programs will still be there. just put th shortcuts back in your start menu! :P you will however need to aplication unlock your phone after. see some of the other threads for decert-ing your phone and stuff but i'll attatch all the programs and stuff you need. even one for changing that qtek screen when you first turn it on ;) philunlock.zip
