Guest spurensucher Posted April 10, 2006 Report Posted April 10, 2006 (edited) does anyone know a solution for the following problem: Sometimes, when I recieve an SMS the phone hangs up and keys do not work anymore. Upon removing the battery it restarts normally but the SMS is lost (since it was not written to the memory). This happened only twice so far (as far as I can tell) but only since I updated the ROM. My current version: ROM 2.16.8.1 WWE ROM date 2/6/2006 Radio version 02.07.10 Protocol version 413.1.03 ExtROM 2.16.9.101 If anyone knows anything I would be grateful for any clue, even if it is only to recommend what other ROM I should use... Cheers, Michael Edited April 10, 2006 by spurensucher
Guest Terrapin Posted April 11, 2006 Report Posted April 11, 2006 I've found that if i have the messaging application loaded and then sync the phone, then activesync causes the messaging application to crash. This means that any subsequent text messages are lost. The best way round it that I've found is to shut down the messaging application via the memory option in settings before syncing the phone. I'm hoping this gets fixed in a later revision, it's pretty annoying!

Anybody know the name of that app/tweak that closes and unloads apps when you click the ok button of the app in the top right of the screen?
Guest Laser_iCE Posted May 18, 2006 Report Posted May 18, 2006 yoda6, SPB Pocket Plus allows users to close the programs when you press the X, rather than just "minimize" them... I think there's a free/shareware application out there though... I like SPB Pocket Plus personally ;)
