Do I have to use outlook calendar?

I currently use a web based calendar that let's me subscribe with iCal on mac and several different apps on PC that support subscribing to calendars through RSS.

My question, is whethere there are any other calendar apps I can use on smartphone (Tmobile SDA) that integrate into the home screen and that I can sync with software other than outlook.

My company offers something similar but not exactly what you are looking for. It is a web-based calendar, and we are working on a version that will run on WIndows Mobile 2003 SE or Windows Mobile 5. It is straight html so it runs in Pocket Internet Explorer. I don't think it is what you are looking for but if you'd like to give it a try let me know and I can set you up with a beta account.
