Guest rsearley Posted April 14, 2006 Report Posted April 14, 2006 Can anyone confirm does clubimate support push mail?? I have activesysnc setup on my sp5 to connect to club imate, if i do a manual sync i get all email sent to me.. but if i go into comm manager and activate 'microsoft directpush' then send myself a test message, nothing happens unless i do a manual sync anyone got this working If clubimate dont support direct push, can anyone suggest a service that does, that ALSO allows the download of mail by pop?? as i dont use outlook as my main email client
Guest Confucious Posted April 14, 2006 Report Posted April 14, 2006 To support push email you need two things - 1) Exchange server 2003 SP2 2) MSFP (also known as AKU2) ROM upgrade on WM5 it sounds like clubimate are providig 1) but do you have 2) for your phone? It is quite probable that it is only supported on certain devices. does the sp5 even run WM5? I have an O2 Exec and am just waiting for them to release MSFP so I can use my own exchange server. Sorry I don't know a lot about imates.

There's talk about it over on imateforum.com. They offer a directpush enabled hosted exchange service via one of their sponsors. Have a look here

Guest rsearley Posted April 14, 2006 Report Posted April 14, 2006 There are a few push email solutions out there that can cope with pop. Most of them require a bit of setting up though. The hosted exchange server services are the best for 99% of users. Clubimate's free service is limited to one year, 10mb and no directpush. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> do you know who offers, push and pop?
