Guest SaleemGhani Posted April 14, 2006 Report Posted April 14, 2006 Hi, I have a Cingular 2125 with Cingular SIM. I have installed the ActiveSync 4.1 and Outlook 2003. The phone connects, I see the Activesync green connect symbol turning and then the phone or pc discconnects right in the middle. I have tried disabling Email, Links, Address and see if maybe that is the reason why it disconnects but to no success. It will disconnect after a few seconds or maybe a minute. I have even tried using different pc's and different 2125's Anyone had same kind of issue ? Any help would be great.
Guest Disco Stu Posted April 14, 2006 Report Posted April 14, 2006 Welcome to the forum ;) ActiveSync 4 and WM05 is a very volatile combination and there are a lot of problems with connectivity. You should try disabling your PC firewall because it looks like you have a connection but it is being interrupted. Ultimately you need to allow ActiveSync as an exception to the firewall's rules.

Guest bjde0b Posted April 20, 2006 Report Posted April 20, 2006 Try deleting your phone from the list of sync objects then get on your phone and delete sync properties then start over and it might work.
