Guest wilburburns Posted April 14, 2006 Report Posted April 14, 2006 Is there any way to reassign the Ignore and Answer buttons on the 2125. Because the buttons are raised and very easily pushed, Many times I will either answer or ignore (hang up on) calls when removing the phone from it's case. I would really prefer the answer and ignore options be switched to the Send or End Buttons. Is this possible? Cliff

Guest JimDelany Posted April 15, 2006 Report Posted April 15, 2006 hold down end the keyboard locks ress the left function button and lower left button to unlock. put it in the case this way. u can even use a bluetooth headset with it locked though my experience with bluetooth has been less than ideal.

Locking the Phone does not have any effect on the Answer and Ignore buttons. If it did, then locking would be useless. I need/want to reassign the Ignore and Answer Buttons (left and Right Function Buttons), because they are WAY to easy to hit. Especially when removing from the Case. Along those same lines, I would also like to reassign the Buttons for the Unlock Sequence also, but that's likely a different topic. Cliff
Guest tonythemediaguy Posted April 22, 2006 Report Posted April 22, 2006 I'm trying to reassign one of my buttons to launch Opera on my SD card (Tmobile USA SDA). But it won't work because the path: \Storage Card\Whatever it is looking for a folder called Storage Card, instead of the SD card. Does anybody know how to get the proper path to apps on the SD card? Also, does anybody know how to make Opera the default browser? If I could do that, then I could just make URL's assigned to my keys. Thanks, Tony

Edit the .ini file by changing the path information, then copy the .ini file back to your phone.
Guest mjb9800 Posted April 29, 2006 Report Posted April 29, 2006 Someone PLEASE figure out a way to reassign the Answer/Ignore buttons!!!!!!!!!!! This is a big problem with this phone. I had to get rid of my leather case and just use a belt clip. But even with just a belt clip, I have inadvertantly answered or ignored calls. What a pain. If someone can figure this out, you will become my personal HERO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! ;)
