Guest Killermink Posted April 15, 2006 Report Posted April 15, 2006 I've been searching the forum for about an hour but have been unable to find an answer! I have an AT&T branded MPX200 but was able to remove the network lock and update the firmware to a generic 2002 one - and I now use a T-Mobile SIM and I am displayed the roaming indicator. I heard about a registry key to disable called NoRoamInd (http://webpages.charter.net/dchester/MPx220/RegistryList.htm), but this doesn't seem to do anything - leading me to believe - a) that key actually does nothing (it is referenced to MPX220) or, ;) I am not actually writing the key to the registry, even though it looks like it (it is still there after a reboot). Does anyone know how to get rid of the roaming indicator? I dont care how, registry, ROM or software it's just driving me crazy! Does anyone else have this problem? Cheers!
Guest m1.carson Posted April 21, 2006 Report Posted April 21, 2006 Hi, I tried T-Mobile and couldn't pick up a signal, try moving house until you get a signal, then the roamer should go.
