SPV C600 flashed to IMATE SP5 ROM

Hi today i succesfully flashed my orange spv c600 to the imate sp5 latest rom with aku2 update.To do this you have to tweak your CID settings and away you go.The final result a nice clean very fast spv c600 no logos its brilliant much faster than before and plenty of storage mem free.I do recomend anyone to do the same its worth it but at your own risk.And guess what sgregedit works fine i easy app unlocked the new rom using the normal procedure and then running sda app unlock after to full unlock it.Well have to say that i am very pleased with the new rom update and will updating it again when future updates become avaliable make sure you download sp5 rom and wwe means world wide english has many languages and just look for the latest release if in any doudt pm me will be glad to assistce.

Just checked the link and there are i-mate 5 WWE and i-mate 5m WWE. Did you upgrade with the i-mate 5 WWE rom..??

only use wwe sp5 rom if you use sp5m your keymapping will not work properly

use SPV services available from HERE and use the CID tool to change your CID to 11111111 which allows you to falsh the imate rom. Also the NRE (northern region english) i-mate rom takes up less space but doesnt have swedish charaters etc.

i am now ready to update to the imate rom.

unlocked phone - check

CID changed - check!

Rom downloaded from the link above - Check!

but... the article above talks about unzipping the file and identifying the nk.nbf file to open in TyphoonNbfTool. The file I downloaded is an application that starts wanting to automatically upgrade the Imate ROM - is this right?

If not, where can I get the ROM from?

file is .exe - just unpack with winrar :)

p.s. has anybody try to backup rom like in the htc typhoon case?
