I love getting me email within seconds of sending up but I am noticing Battery Life suffering. I read somewhere that AKU2 exchanges data at a very small rate but yet it is fairly constant. Is anyone else noticing a significant loss of battery life???

Before you ask I have my phone sent to retrieve and send email instantly. Also, I have everything checkmarked from mail, calendar, contacts, to taks. Would just syncing email save battery??? Would I then just do a manual sync of calendar and contacts???

that would be to easy. Am I the only one noticing this? I have also noticed the Imate Rom to be less stable than my Qtek was. Still learning the new Rom so my opinions may change.

Having GPRS connection always on (for push email) will indeed very badly affect the battery life.

GPRS is even more power hungry then WiFi.
