right menu

I have installed v1.31 of Right Menu but it wont allow me to change the name shown on the screen from "Right Menu" to my own choice. My friend can do it... Does that feature only come with a newer version, eg v.1.5?

You can change the name it displays on the home screen by editing the registry, however this only lasts until you restart the phone. for a more permanent solution I changed mine with resource hacker to say simply 'menu'

(I have version 1.5)

Download the program from HERE

copy the right menu exe from your phone to your PC

open the rkeyen.exe with the program and expand 'string table', expand 2503 and click on 1033

simply change string 40038 'right menu' to say what you would like instead

save the file and overwrite the one on your phone
