Hi,

I am Brew and J2me game developer. Now i want to program for Smartphone.

Please advise me following query:

1. I have downloaded "Windows Mobile 5.0 Smartphone SDK.msi", but it couldn't install on my PC Win2000 with VC++. What software requirement it need?

2. Is it possible to release the game made for Smartphone independently, like J2me?

3. Is it possible to make/release game without actual device? I mean using only Emulator/simulator.

1, For the system requirements to install the SDK have a look HERE

2, You can release your software and you have two options, the first is to release your app with out code signing, this can limit the app to application unlocked devices. The second option is to have your app signed, for more information click on Application Signing Details HERE

3, It is technically possible but not advised as various devices can give different operating errors and crashes. It is best to either have a device or enlist on a few people to beta test for you. There aere plently of willing members here to help including myself (as I'm glutton for punishment ;) )
