SPB Software and HTC 2125

Since SPB Pocket Plus and SPB Weather say they are compatible with "Windows Mobile 5.0 Device", does this mean it will work on my Cingular 2125? I have tried to install but get the error "Not intended for this device" but wondered if this is a compatibility issue or a app lock issue.

Side note-I have edited my reg keys 00001001 to value 1 (which it already was) and 00001005 to 40

It's a compatibility issue.

Spb make software for Pocket PCs whereas your 2125 is a Smartphone. WM05 is a dual-platform OS, one branch for keypad-controlled devices and the other for touchscreen devices.

Thanks for your help. Any suggestions on a good app for a smartphone that does what Pocket Plus offers? Or for what SPB weather does, Fizz Weather doesn't have the cities I need.

You can add a lot of cities in Fizz weather that aren't in the default list. I have to travel to a lot of small, remote towns, and all of them have been available in the "Add City" option in Fizz.

I tried Aspen, CO in both Fizz Traveller and Fizz Weather. Each time it found the city. Please make sure your phone is connected (pref) with Internet via Active Sync. See screen shot. Also check out the following link for a very versatile Home screen which may fulfils your requirements for SPB Plus substitute.

For sure. Aspen and Malibu both show up by just their names, and 91320 gives Newbury Park, while 91361 gives Westlake Village. Are you using a demo version? that may be limiting the cities you can look up if you are.
