TOMTOM 5.20 AND FULL AKU2 APP UNLOCK GUIDE

I just wanted to post abit of usefull information to all that are having trouble with tomtom 5.20 after the aku2 update it freezes i know you need to activate bluetoothe first and switch on the reciever then fire up tomtom 5.20 only then will it not freeze.Now if you want to overcome this problem i can help you out cause i am sure theres alot of people out there who has this problem well i have a spv c600 i simply flashed my phone with the latest rom from imate sp5 with aku2 and guess what yep it works flawlesly without the freezing problems this is a great find to overcome the bluetoothe problems and i can confirm imate sp5 rom works flawlesly to on the spv c600 thats my tip ov the day hope it was usefull if you need advice just leave me a message thanks all irl be back. ;)

Tried updating my C600 with the i-mate sp5 WWE 2.5.331.2 rom but get a CID number error. Did you have to adjust anything on your phone for it to complete the update?

make sure your fone is full app unlocked with the sda unloker and dont forget to copy the cab file over to your phone and install it the one given with nbf tools and you should get the rapi succesfull

to get tomtom 5.20 working perfectly with no freezing problems i can only recomend for spv c600 users that you have the latest imate sp5 rom on it and that you app unlock with regstd and then full app unlock it with sda app unlock and then install tomtom 5.20 you should find it works perfect with no problems.To find out how to flash rom to imate sp5 search the forums you will find answers to your questions very eaisly do your research first dont just jump in and flash your phone and mess it up read learn then act.

ok read carfully irm only going to explain once for all if you have updated to aku2 on your spv c600 already then you need to contact orange developers and request to app unlock your phone for application testing purposes and they will send you a app unlocker specificaly for your imie your phone only.Once you have done this run the app they sent you and install it to the phone then disable security.Ok i presume you have done all this succesfully the next step is to run the sda app unlock tool now your phone is fully app unlocked.Wright now its time to play with the cid settings run the NBFT tools program install the cab run the exe on pc and then select cid settings hit the change button and now you can download the imate sp5 rom from the free fttp site ftp://ftp.clubimate.com/ download the latest rom only for sp5 and use the wwe it has most language file yes english.then now flash update the phone install tomtom 5.20 it should work flawlesly okay hope you all got that cause i did mean what i said irm not going to explain again.

All sorted, got the application unlock form Orange then put the i-mate update on and the phone is running sweet now. No problems with Tomtom 5.20. Thanks for that.

sounds like something is not wright is it registered i think its asking for registry or it wont go any further i sugest get a proper copy in english

ok here is a tip for all those that get a frozen screen on tomtom on the i agree screen all you simply have to do is put a jpg file into my documents/tomtom into the tomtom folder not on memory card on phone memory my documents once tomtom fires up past the i agree screen you can delete the jpg file cause the cfg.dat file gets created in that tomtom folder hope this helps .
