Guest FazalKhan Posted April 21, 2006 Report Posted April 21, 2006 Hello All, I want to upgrade my c500 to a device that is better for internet surfing (with Wi-Fi), taking notes and maybe viewing short Excel, Word and Powerpoint docs etc (I don't want to write much on these devices.) The Orange M600 or M2000 seem like they fit the bill but am not sure what the difference is between them. The M600 is newer and more compact, but what will I lose compared to the m2000? Thanks in advance, Fazal
Guest w411y Posted April 21, 2006 Report Posted April 21, 2006 (edited) I believe the only thing the M2000 will offer is a keyboard. The M600 comes with WM5, higher reolution screen and a better camera. Oh and theyre Pocket PCs, not Smartphones. May have got a better response if it was initially posted in that section. Guest Webreaper Posted April 22, 2006 Report Posted April 22, 2006 M2000 is about twice the size of an M600 too. It's iPaq-sized, whereas the M600 is mobile-phone sized.
Guest fraser Posted April 24, 2006 Report Posted April 24, 2006 I wouldn't do without a keyboard on a PPC device. Entering data on the stylus just isn't all that practical. As the others have said, the size of the M2000 might be too much for you, but I've kept mine in my jeans pocket for the last year without any hassle.
