sending/Recieving files over BT

This seems like such a basic function yet does not appear to be possible on my Vario?

any help apreeciated.

is it possible to replace the stack?

will this be avlibul on the new rom

also is there a way to make it always discoverable when BT is on?

i do know that Resco Explorer will allow you to send files via any format ie bluetooth mms ect. i dont know of any free way to do ( havn't needed to ;) )

as far as always being descoverable once your radio is on go back to Comm Manager and click on Settings -> Bluetooth Settings and check the checkbox thta say's 'Make this device disoverable to other devices' and hit ok. volia its descoverable.

You don't need Resco Explorer to send/receive files via BT... Simply hold down the stylus on the item in Explorer and go to Beam File.

Make sure that BT is turned on in the Comm Manager, and when it comes to receiving, all you need to do is have your BT turned on and a partnership set up with the other phone (Which you also need to send files to the other phone).

Every time bluetooth is switched/ on or off it automatically unticls itself so i have to retick it when ever i tunr on bluetooth which adds an unnessecery stage.

does it stay ticked for others?

Ah so simple i thauhgt beam was just inferead. i never thaut to actually try it with BT on.

Still cant manage to recieve files form my mac over bluetooth even though i ahve done it on numuerous PPC and phones before

ill try again later.
