MDA VARIO IS DEAD!

Hello, i purchased an mda vario about two months ago.

I was in love with the phone until 10.30 am this morning when it decided to die, very well. I was sending a message and it started to slow down, so i checked the memory feature and it said no other programmes were running. So then i decided to do a soft reset, pushing the reset button. It re-booted then crashed, then re-booted again and stayed on the boot screen for about ten min. After this i turned it off with the power button, when i tried to turn it back on it wouldn't. It wont even acknowlege that im trying to turn it on.

The only sign of life left in it is when i plug in the charger (not the usb cable), the red power led lights up, thats it!

I have tried a hard reset, pushing the wifi button, voice active button and the power button and it still dosent do anything!

Please can u help, is it in need of a rom upgrade, a batt jump start or is it dead??

Tried the battery jump start via bare usb cables, didnt work!! I think its goosed! Please, anyone any ideas??

1) Did you let the battery go completely flat?

2) You don;t hard reset with the power button. Hold down the Comm Manager button(top left) and Voice Command button(top right) buttons while performing a soft-reset (depress the reset button using the stylus); after you depress the soft-reset button, [contintue to hold the two side buttons] until you are prompted on screen [you can release the side buttons now]. Press the Send (Talk) button (i.e. the green telephony button)

Turn the phone completely off with the batter removed for 1 hour.

Place the battery in.. (with the phone still off) THEN plug in the ORIGINAL OEM AC ADAPTOR

No off brand.. Ebay brand or any other thing.. NO USB cable.

The ORIGINAL OEM AC ADAPTOR ONLY

Then after 20 minutes.. your phone SHOULD TURN ON..

If not.. Its DEAD.
