SPV M2000 Line 2 Selection

Hey People i know this is an old phone and that but i just got hold of one for peanuts and i had the previous models and love windows operating systems on mobiles!But just one thing bugging me i know theres a way you can have two lines on the M2000 but i believe the orange software prevents you from selecting it and theyve removed the options aswel.But how do ui get it back is it a case of removeing all the firmware and loading up a completely different one say an i-mate version?or can i just patch the latest version of ppc onto it?

I have used a M2000 before, and as far as I am aware, there is no way of using line 2, as the functionality is not there. I have the same problem with the M600 - I can't use my line two for out going calls. I have spoken to Orange, and they have advised that this will not be resolved, even with the fully functional line 2 once they get it going later this year.

Thats bad news man i am going to have to take off the whole software i reckon and put the imate software on there ive seen it done and ive changed rom versions before so it should be much the same thing cheers anyway!

I have the same problem with the M600 - I can't use my line two for out going calls.

How does the M600 cope with incoming calls on line 2?
