Guest StuBFrost Posted April 24, 2006 Report Posted April 24, 2006 (edited) Just thought I would let everyone know that T-Mobile e-mailed me today to say that the MDA Pro is out of stock. They didn't say when new stock would be available. Stu ;) Edited April 24, 2006 by StuBFrost
Guest Confucious Posted April 25, 2006 Report Posted April 25, 2006 It doesn't surprise me at all with the fantastic deals they are offering! Have you tried a T-Mob shop? Often shops still have stock when the companies themselves have sold out. Good Luck!

Asked what else I could have and they offered me a Vario so I've taken that. Stu
Guest Confucious Posted April 25, 2006 Report Posted April 25, 2006 The vario is great if that's what you want but if you wanted a Pro why didn't you try the shops?
Guest StuBFrost Posted April 25, 2006 Report Posted April 25, 2006 The vario is great if that's what you want but if you wanted a Pro why didn't you try the shops? Two reasons: 1. I wasn't sure I could get to a shop before the 25% off deal runs out at the end of the month. 2. I have a cooling off period of 7 days and they also said that if I didn't like the Vario, I could send it back and wait for a Pro. Stu
Guest Confucious Posted April 25, 2006 Report Posted April 25, 2006 Like I say, the vario is great if that's what you want, but it's not a pro. If you want a pro then it's worth phoning your local stores to seed if they have it in stock. I have an O2 Exec (the same as the pro) and I realise they are not for everyone but I certainly wouldn't have a vario given the choice. You might be happy with the vario but I cnt imagine I'd be replying now if I had a vario. My broadband has been out of action for over a week so my phone is my only internet access at the moment. I don't know what I would have done without my Exec. The choice is, of course, yours. Hope you're happy with whatever you have.

The reason why I left it so long to buy anything is because I have been umming and arring about which phone to buy. I have played with an exec and really like it except that I find it too big. I have also had a mda compact and hated that because you had to use the stylus for everything. I am hoping that the Vario with WM5 will not be as bad and will be more smartphone like which is the format I prefer. I use a Qtek 8310 at the moment and I may just continue to use that in any case.
