Anyone any concrete information as to when the t-mobile 25% discounted line rental offer expires?

I phoned t-mobile sales, and they said that it would expire at the end of this month - which is a pain, as my contract doesn't expire til the end of next month... ;)

Anyone from t-mobile able to confirm this?

End of this month is what I was told as well.

Dont forget that you normally have to give a months notice of cancellation - so cancel your existing (Orange?) contract today in order for it to actually end on the 25th May

You need to calculate whether the 25% saving over the course of your new contract comes to more than your last months charges on your current contract. I suspect it will - so go ahead and treat yourself!

You can get your PAC code 28 days of thereabouts before the endof your contract. Get that s*** sorted ASAP.

Yeah - I've got my pac code - the number i'm transfering is on a different contract to the one that ends in may - normal 30 sec chat with orange retention staff...

Now just to find anywhere stocking the Vario, and offering the 25% discount ;)

I've found that T-Mobile in the last two days, have stopped stocking the Vario on their web page. Bizarre. I'm gonna wait for the Vario II though - it's 3G and comes with Push Email and Bluetooth Stereo out of the box and has similar keyboard to the Exec, which is lovely. It may take until JUNE though, but hopefully, the Vario being taken down maybe means the Vario II is on it's way sooner?

If that is the case, I'm getting the VARIO II as soon as it's out, and I'll worry about the crappy O2 contract I'm in after that....

p.s. if you wanna do a search for the vario II on the net, it's called the Hermes.

I ordered an MDA Pro last Friday and on Monday they said they had no stock. I phoned them up yesterday evening and they offered me a Vario instead which is coming tomorrow.

Well - good news folks...

I got my Vario + Copilot package on Flext 35 + web n walk - Phoned a store up 10 miles from work - and they had one of each

Unfortuneately, I can't for the life of me get GPRS to work-

Tried using the built in settings, and entering the settings listed on the website - and neither seemed to work :(

I get the connecting ballon flash twice, then get a "cannot connect for an unkown reason" message :(

Oh well - just have to phone customer services in the morning...

I had that too and was told that there were problems with new connections because of the volume of new subscriptions they are processing.

They claimed to be aware of my problem already, but that might well have been flannel

My phone got delivered Weds, and the GPRS sorted Thurs.

Cool - I wondered if this might be the case

I've checked all the settings - and followed the instructions online, and gone through the same process with CS (he didn't seem to know anything about any problems - said I should take it in to a t-moble shop)

I'll see if it works tomorrow - if not take it in...

It's a network issue, not a handset issue - so taking it to a shop wont help

I'd call CS and ask them to check with whoever manages new connections.
