Guest TonyLondon Posted April 25, 2006 Report Posted April 25, 2006 I've recently been plagued by sales calls originating from abroad. Mostly they withhold their number, although sometimes they use bogus ID numbers beginning 07 or 02. I spoke to my service provider (Virgin) and they cannot block the calls as a network option. Nor can other service providers as far as I know. My phone (C500) is unable to reject withheld numbers or numbers that I specify. Therefore I'd like to upgrade my phone to one that can do this. I love the C500 so I'll be wanting to get a similar smartphone such as the C600 or any of the non Orange branded variants. Does anyone know which of the new generation of Windows Mobile 2005 smartphones can reject anonymous calls? I believe that some phones can put them straight to voice mail without ringing.
Guest hyedipin Posted April 25, 2006 Report Posted April 25, 2006 Talk to your wireless provider, they might be able to add this to your number, possibly? (if your phone doesn't support that).
Guest Driekus Posted April 25, 2006 Report Posted April 25, 2006 Maybe this little program can help you: callfilter. Find it here: http://teog.multiservers.com/index-en.html More info here: http://www.modaco.com/index.php?showtopic=199894
