C600 Rom 11.2.1.5 (AKU2) Regedit will not work !

I have upgraded my ROM to the latest version from Orange (11.2.1.5) I have then run the Application unlock program which says it cannot unlock my phone but you click on OK its then says the phone is unlocked???? Wierd.

I then copy the Regedit_STG.zip file to my phone and unpack the exe file. When I try to run Regedit it says the program cannot start because it is not digitally signed with a trusted certificate.

This worked fine on my old ROM.

Could anyone give me any pointers? I am assuming I need an updated version of the App Unlock to go with the newer ROM.

Cant be having the Start menu as chunky icons again!!! Need the nicer looking list view.

I had used the SDA Application Unlock prog to do my C600. This was the one that says it cannot unlock the phone then it says its unlocked. Sorry. I should have been more specific.

Theres a site called SPV developers (http://www.spv-developers.com/forum/archive/index.php?t-2361.html) with a page chock full of people who have installed the ROM update on their C600s and now regeditor doesnt work.

I dont really fancy using a non SPV ROM on my phone so I dont really want to go down the imate route.

Is ANYONE else on here having this problem???????????????????

i had the same annoying problem so i know have the imate sp5 rom i just could not stand not being able to load microsoft voice command on my spv c600 so i upgraded the rom to imate!

they blacklisted the certificate alot of these apps were signed with.. your outta luck until someone finds another way

Have cracked it !!!!!

I had a different Memory card in my old SPV C500 with a copy of regedit on it that was registered to the C500. I placed this memory card in the C600 and Regedit worked. Copied it to the phone. Replaced my C600 Memory card and then copied the file back there and it works.

I didn't realise it had been released for smartphone? Or are you using the PPC version?

A simple solution if you want AKU2 and be able to app unlock easily is to simply install the Imate rom. Instructions and files are right here... ;)
