Guest chucky.egg Posted April 28, 2006 Report Posted April 28, 2006 Anyone else having this issue? My Wizard takes exactly 2 minutes to boot (from pressing Soft Reset, to the Today screen finishing loading). My Prophet, with an almost identical set of software loaded, takes 90 seconds - and that always felt like too long. I've got: Resco Explore v5.35 (plus Registry, FTP) cLaunch CodeWallet Pro v5 Spb Diary v1.75 Spb Time Spb Weather Texas Hold Em MS Reader v2.41 Splash Blog v2.04b1 Battery Meter Space Detective Sprite Backup CoPilot SoftKey control panel VjSoft Dots ICBM Email Account: (5GT) Chris Email Account: GMail Email Account: Outlook (with Push enabled) I've tried removing the things that the Prophet doesn't have (Weather, CoPilot and Push Email) but it didn't make any noticeable different. Any ideas? Anyone found a way to overclock from start up, and keep the overclocking when the device suspends?
Guest Smokebeast Posted April 28, 2006 Report Posted April 28, 2006 Anyone found a way to overclock from start up, and keep the overclocking when the device suspends? Yeah i would quite like to know if this is possible too!! What program are you using btw??
Guest chucky.egg Posted April 28, 2006 Report Posted April 28, 2006 I just had another go with omapclock, and it is staying overclocked when I switch off and back on (well, it's reporting 240Mhz anyway). Default clock seems to be 132Mhz. I run Batti (Excellent freeware battery meter) from Startup, so I put the omapclock on that link in Startup and it sticks! Whoo hooo! I got omapclock from XDA Developers Links to them used to be censored, so this might not work: http://forum.xda-developers.com/viewtopic....r=asc&start=250 forum . xda - developers . com Still takes 2 minutes to boot though
