Latest 818pro rom vs latest imate rom

Im gonna be hard reseting my jammin soon and start a fresh and am considering installing dopods latest rom..Ive currently got imates latest installed ,Are the latest imates and dopods the same rom or is the newest dopods a later build?

As anyone tried both and which do you prefer ?

Also ive heard that with the dopods rom theres the bug where it wipes the sd card every now and then is this fixed in the later rom?

I haven't tried both, but from my experiences with the original 818 Pro ROM I wouldn't really consider going back (from the JAMin AKU2 ROM).

There aren't that many Prophets around, and you may well find that the majority of users have Orange or Imate branded devices anyway - in which case they're unlikely to bother with the Dopod ROM

Ive just updated to the latest dopod rom and does seem faster to me compared to the jammin latest....ill have to see how it goes though and ill post back

gonna flash it the first thing.. do let me know how the experiences and differences between the jammin and dopod roms are.

Great ROM. I have just upgraded to this rom on my qtek s200 which had the factory installed ROM. I wasn't expecting much as I already had Push mail. But what a surprise:

Faster, although this may in part be due to doing a clean install with careful selection of additional programs.

Much improved voice commander. I only had a voice tag facility before but this seems to recognise strings of command.

Best of all while playing with the voice commander and bluetooth headset I have music being piped to the headset, excellent! I did not think this was released yet as there were concerns whether the devices were powerful enough? Is this right? Or have I being living in cave?

Yea does seem alot faster to me in general and for using tomtom as was taking around 30 secs to startup before....Im finding though that its locking up randomly and am trying to find the cause ...thinking it may have somthing to do with spb pocketplus......Gotta find another taskmanager app that i can map to the ok button to close the current active app

I used to have the ok button mapped to the small Closeall app around but as in the title closes everything which aint good and need somthing different

Any ideas guys?

Ok thanks im sure ive used this before ages ago...Ill have to give it ago again.

Ive decided to go back to the latest Imate rom......With the latest dopod rom installed im finding it keeps locking up all the time :P with the same software combo i had on the latest jammin rom ..so back to imate for me ;)
