Flight mode

Hi,

I received my Vario a week ago and I've been quite impressed with it, but it seems quite unreliable. For example the device only syncs the first time it's plugged into my work machine... after that ActiveSync doesn't recognise my phone at all.

Then last night I left my Vario safely beside my bed and went to sleep... this morning it seems to have turned flight mode on by itself. This isn't the first time it's randomly turned on flight mode by itself.

Does this sound like I have a faulty device?

Freakily enough, mine has started to do this over the last week or so..

No idea why though..

I think I might take it back to the shop tonight to see what they have to say. I'll keep you updated

This has happened to me once or twice as well... but over a 6 month period.

Has anyone got any news about what could be causing this? Or has anyone had any similar problems and if so, how have you solved it?

I finally worked out that the phone was turning Flight Mode on every time a new "profile" was activated by pocketMax phoneAlarm. After a hard reset and reinstallation of phoneAlarm everything seems to be fine
