gprs costs

Not strictly a PPC only question but as I'm on a S200 I'll give it a shot.

Just signed up for a 50MB GPRS bundle here and before I get screwed over I'll ask if anyone knows, if I use the ppc as a gprs modem for my laptop over bluetooth does it use that data or is it charged some other way? I only ask cos when I use it this way the G icon does not start up so it doesn't seem to be accessing it the same way.

Anyone know either way what the case is? I've asked my operator but they hadn't a clue what I was on about ;)

Assuming you've set it up correctly then yes, it should just come out of your allowance...

Thanks for the reply Paul. Im using it by dialing the *99# number and the init string (+CGDCONT=1,"IP","isp.vodafone.ie") do you know if this it the correct way?
