Well I didn't have the M500 but have the M600 (or the qtek version of it) You can probably get an upgrade cheep? (I had to pay 600 euro!!!)

Benifits are:

WM5 (I know you mentioned it but the persistant storage has to be a major benifit, + push email)

Wifi (save yourself a fortune on GPRS if you have access to a wifi network)

Quad band (If you travel to USA a bit that should benifit you)

hmmmm maybe someone who had the M500 will be able to offer more?

but wifi and the many benifits of WM5 would swing it for me, defintaly if I was getting a cheap upgrade price.

I'd find it hard to recomend upgrading on Orange to anyone now. If you have a PPC phone presumeably you use data and if you use data T-Mob's

I had the M500, then the C600, but now use the M600. The extra soft buttons and close button are excellent, I still haven't got used to them and I still reach for the stylus sometimes ;) Wifi is great as is the push email feature.

I find the M600 more responsive than the M500 and the extra battery life is a bonus also. The one thing the bothers the hell out of me is the Dialler screen shortcuts have gone. I've posted about it here http://www.modaco.com/Dialler-screen-short...ne-t240206.html, if you can live without them then go for it.

Are you asking about the Orange M600 or the Eten M600?

Don't buy the Eten.

It looks great on paper, but is so full of bugs it will have you in a lunatic asylum inside of a month.

I've had mine 2 months and have had to install 8 ROM updates so far.

I've only managed to stay sane by gnawing off my legs and sticking them in my ears to block out the voices telling me to update, update, up smegging date!

Buy the Orange.

You just don't seem to get these problems with HTC PDAs.

Anyone want to buy a pair of roller skates?

Anyone know of any ways/ ideas/ tips how I can get orange (I've found one in a shop) to lower the price? Any ideas are appreciated and I'll let you know if I'm successful!
