What's latest ROM on Cingular 2125?

Does anyone know what the latest ROM version is for Cingular 2125 (US)?

I have noticed mention of some new ROMs in the forum but it seems to be for other variants. I wanted to see if there was a newer one for my phone. I'm currently at:

Operator 5.1.70.14406

The only problem I'm having is ActiveSync takes much longer than it used to with my MPX220 and I was hoping there may be a ROM upgrade soon that may improve it. Sync works just takes a long time.

OK I just realized I looked at the wrong info. I'm currently at:

Operator: 1.8.42.14

Radio: 4.0.13.20_01.09.01

There is a ROM update on the USA HTC website for the 2125. However, it will only update your Radio version (to 4.0.13.20_01.09.01). This update does take care of some issues that a few users were having with sim cards. If you are not having any issues with your sim, I would wait until the AKU2 update for Cingular is released (this will actually update the ROM, which the current update does not!).

Cingular are supposed to release the AKU2 ROM in the middle (or towards the end) of this month. It is currently going through final testing.

I also have a 2125 with a ROM version: 1.0.9.0, operator version: 1.8.42.14, and Radio Version: 4.0.13.20_01.09.01.

I am having trouble with my SIM card dropping connection to my network. I figure its the SIM card because replacing it (twice), temporarily fixes it.

The very helpful, but semi-informed rep at the cingular store said I needed to update my ROM version but the install update GUI notes that my ROM version is the same as what is in the update. As is stated in this post.

I tried to update anyway hoping to update one of the above firmware versions but during the update process, the program on my PC does the all-too-familiar "program has encountered an error" and crashes. Any idea if I can update? And will the new ROM version coming out be appropriate for me?
