Guest ginetta27 Posted January 23, 2003 Report Posted January 23, 2003 I'm sorry if this has been asked before, but does anyone know if the SPV version of IE supports 128bit encryption or just 56bit? Thanks in advance, David
Guest Monolithix [MVP] Posted January 23, 2003 Report Posted January 23, 2003 Full blown 128bit encryption.
Guest ginetta27 Posted January 23, 2003 Report Posted January 23, 2003 Thanks for the reply - just needed to know if I would be able to get at my office email via outlook web access
Guest Monolithix [MVP] Posted January 23, 2003 Report Posted January 23, 2003 Signed into Secure Yahoo mail with a 128bit SSL conn without a prob. (On second thoughts would the page knock the encryption down to 56bit if the browser didnt support 128? Not sure...)
Guest ginetta27 Posted January 23, 2003 Report Posted January 23, 2003 I'm pretty sure we have web access to outlook setup to only allow 128 bit compatible browsers - so it should work OK.
