To report success in connecting a Holux GPSlim 236 (weighs about 60g w. battery) by Bluetooth to Memory-Map Navigator V5.0.6 #679 on i-mate SP3 Smartphone (Win Mob Smartphone 2003 Ozone update SE). NMEA, port speed 38400.

See about 8 sats from inside the house (steel roof, aluminium foil on outside of exterior wall linings). Using the NZ topographic & towns map set purchased from www.memory-map.co.nz or see www.memory-map.com

The Memory-Map Navigator Smartphone version is a beta and basically just shows instantaneous values at present (eg no routes nor tracks), but Memory-Map say they are actively developing the Smartphone version (the beta was released quite recently).

In the meantime I have been able to use GPSTuner for Smartphone www.gpstuner.com to record a track (on a "blank" background - no street/topo map) as a .gpx file on the SP3, then import the .gpx file manually and display as a map overlay in Navigator on the laptop.
