Guest jimbouk Posted May 4, 2006 Report Posted May 4, 2006 (edited) If you plug a new device in (or delete all previous partnerships with the device prior to plugging in), as will ask you if you want to create a partnership or not. If you don't, click cancel on the first page of the wizard, then you get a guest partnership. I am guessing you are plugging a device in with an existing partnership. The alternative is simply to not select inbox/contacts/tasks/notes in activesync. Edited May 4, 2006 by jimbouk

If you mean to access your device like a USB key (no syncing). I found a slick piece of software call WM5Storage (sorry don't have the link just now), that switches the device to act as a USB key -- essentially eliminating the need for ActiveSync for exploring / moving files. It only works on WM5 though. hth. -j
