Where has the active sync guest option gone?

Is it not possible to sync as a guest

If not is there a way to sync without syncing outlook

If you plug a new device in (or delete all previous partnerships with the device prior to plugging in), as will ask you if you want to create a partnership or not.

If you don't, click cancel on the first page of the wizard, then you get a guest partnership.

I am guessing you are plugging a device in with an existing partnership.

The alternative is simply to not select inbox/contacts/tasks/notes in activesync.

Hi. If you mean to access your device like a USB key (no syncing). I found a slick piece of software call WM5Storage (sorry don't have the link just now), that switches the device to act as a USB key -- essentially eliminating the need for ActiveSync for exploring / moving files. It only works on WM5 though.
