O2 Active issues on XDA EXEC

Hi - just got myself an XDA Exec and am experiencing some issues with O2 Active, eg: unable to remove short of a hard reset.

The O2 website, only details O2 active for the X1 series although the Exec comes with it installed, the instructions to remove detail a Nokia handset not XDA - this makes me wonder if it is actually fully compatible with the Exec or is O2 slow in providing updated info?

Removing it via the remove programs results in a message stating that it was not sucesfuly removed - after a soft reset I have a 50/50 hit rate - sometimes it's gone - sometimes not!

If I hard reset it's not installed as standard (just the option to install) - sometimes I find it usefull to have O2 active - othertimes I would prefer to have native Windows Mobile - hence the problem.

I have also noticed that after the first hard reset the phone's performance improved - fewer lockups and screen jams.

Anybody else had similar problems or found a resoloution?
