Okay, had my Wizard a few days now, WOW! but I am considering upgrading the ROM for the latest one on the T-Mob site, or possibly the I-mate one as many people seem to reccomend this option.

Now when I put the Co-Pilot memory card in it installed a couple of CABs to the phone, does anyone know if I can reinstall again from the memory card after the upgrade or would the CABs have been deleted like a lot of them do?

Really nervous about losing my Sat Nav!

Its not a problem. If you have a directory called 2577 on your memory card, then when you insert the memory card, it will install CoPilot from there. Sometimes it runs this automatically from there, but others I need to run the CAB files in the 2577 directory.

You may need to reregister CoPilot, when you reinstall the ROM, but its not a problem if you have a network connection and the license number.

If you install CoPilot on XP, you can always rewrite the installation files and the maps to a memory card if they were to get wiped. You can also write out a different set of the maps like this.

This registry tweak may be of use to you if you wish to install from .cab files but keep the original cab for later use :

- Navigate to HKLM\Software\apps\Microsoft Application Installer\nDynamicDelete

- Change the value from 1 to 0.

After a reset, all your cab files will remain after installation.
