try this go back into bluetoothe manager delete the gps device and search again when it finds it it will ask you if you want to add a seriel port and click yes once done look for seriel port setting in bluetoothe manager and try set it to outgoing com 6 or com 7 and then select other gps device in the tomtom prefrences in gps status good luck

Hi there,

Jutley is the man when i comes to problems here chap i can assure you gave me plenty of help but i have a C600 with 5.2 you need to configure your gps to outgoing com 6 and then it should see it when you select other gps in tomtom menu.

Hope this helps

Have you tried renaming your dell gps to BT GPS and then searching again?

I had this problem to, and then I renamed my gps (I have an Adapt 16-channel nemerix) to BT GPS and it worked fine ;)
