Guest frijj2k Posted January 23, 2003 Report Posted January 23, 2003 Hi, I was using my phone last night when i came accross the most annoying bug I have found so far! I was in call at the time when somebody gave me a telephone number which i really needed. I had no pen or paper so, as you would, I entered the number into the phone (Thinking that like nokia and other phone manufacturers this was possible). The number came up on the csreen in its own little space at the bottom of the screen. I then tried (whilst still in call) to go down to the number and store it but I could only toggle between "Contacts" and "Calendar" but I couldnt select the number to do anything with it. So I cancelled the call thinking that the number would still be there so I could store it afterwards but when I hung up, the number was removed!!! Arrrgghhh!.... So i tried again, and again thinking that I had done something wrong but I have come to the conclusion that it is impossible. If somebody knows how to do this I would be gratefull to know but I am sure that it is a software bug. I would say that this is a pretty fundamental feature of any phone and I was shocked and annoyed to find it wasnt present in the SPV. And of course.... i never got that important stored. Grrrr... Anywayz.... thanks for listening to my rant! ;-) Cheerz Dave -=[Frijj2k]=-

Guest DJHope Posted January 23, 2003 Report Posted January 23, 2003 Yeh you asked that question in the ms forum, here was my reply "Sorry dude but thats no bug, press HOME whilst in a call and you have COMPLETE control over the phone as normal funtionality! So press home, programs and then click contacts, then new and put the number in like normal!"
