unread messages even everything is checked

I constantly get information that I have one unread Hotmail message.. My homescreen displays the unread email information so it's a bit frustrating to be told that there's one unread when there's not.. How can I get rid of this information, ie reset the counter?

hmm it gets the unread email counter from the hotmail server (same as your MSN messenger does). Try logging into hotmail on your PC and make sure everything is marked as read. It may be some message from months ago - i've had that before.

I tell u tho its sooo anoying that it displays hotmail messages there.. my phone bleeps all day long as i get spam!

There was something strange with the hotmail server - no messages unread there and still it flagged one unread mess.. I simply switched hotmail user and then back to myself again... After that the mailbox was reinstalled and now I have the counter back on track again ;)
