Cannot download emails or IM when connected to PC via ActiveSync

Hi All,

I am having a problem, where I do not seem to be able to download my emails or connect to IM on my SPV C600 when I have it connected to my PC via ActiveSync. It is usually connected to the PC for charging purposes, rather than for Synchronisation.

Is there a reason for this, and is there a way around it.

Is your pc connected to the web? if so, you need activesync to pass through the connection.

Click Connection Settings.

Select Open ActiveSync when my device connects.

In the This computer is connected to list, select a connection to which this computer should connected when passing through ActiveSync

You might need to tweak your firewall settings too.
