Speakers stopped working

Hi All,

At some point last night the speakers on my MDA Vario decided to stop working. The phone appeared to function correctly in all other aspects apart from the fact that it wouldnt ring / didnt allow me to make calls etc.

I tried re-setting the device but to no avail. I've no idea why but it simply started working again tonight. I did notice that it still worked on the headphone jack though.

Any suggestions.... ?

Its an age old HTC hardware issue. There is a little switch in the headset socket. Sometimes it think the headset is in when it isnt...

Simplest solution is to carefully insert and remove the headset jack a few times to see if it resets.
