Tornado Battery Life

With the o2 XDA IQ being released in the UK shortly, I wish to know, how long will the battery last with

• wifi on
  
• phone at standby
  
• making calls?
  

If it is like the T-mobile SDA then 2 hours with wifi will be terrible, is it likely to be so short?

Good luck getting people to bother to do that for you :| With wifi on contantly your talking maybe 4-6 hours.

Chances are thought if your gonna use wifi for more than 30 mins youll be indoors anyway

I find with WiFi and GSM on my SP5 lasts about 4 to 6 hours. If streaming some music or something then you're talking closer to 2 or 3 hours.

With only WiFi on it lasts about 8 hours when idle. I imagine 4 hours if it were streaming. I don't think you'll find any phone that can last more than that with WiFi on permanantly. It doesn't matter what hardware it has, the basic limitation is the battery. I have yet to see any phone with Lithium Polymer batteries, so with the usual form factors the max battery capactiy is around 1400mAh
