Send an SMS (pref via outlook) thru my pay-as-you-go phone

Does anyone know of a product - or (ideally) an add on to Outlook - which will allow me to create an email, re-format it, send it down the usb cable, to my Orange SPV 550 (pay-as-you-go), which will then send that out as an sms ?

I also want to be able to pick up any SMS received on the phone, send them up (or collect them from) my Orange SPV 500 and dump them in my outlook inbox.

Orange have a product called PC messenger, but that is only for contract phones and seems to be an sms gateway.

There are apps out there to send it 'as if it appears to have been sent from my phone' - but thats not what I want. I also know about Clickatell and all these gateway bulk email/sms solution providers, but I only want to send and receive a few sms now and then - just have a way of automating it.

I say ideally in outlook cos then I could be lazy and write my app in vba.

However if I had something that could access file (the smartphone folder/file) where the sms are stored or copied it to and from a pc folder that would be fine.

Also I am skilled in other programming languages - my C++ and assembly (spot old skool ;-) are rusty - so worst case - if some one could point me at resources for having pc - smartphone comms (api maybe) that would help...

There is a program called Jeyo Mobile Extender that creates a catogory in Outlook for SMS and it allows synchronisation, sending etc..
