C500 right softkey broken - repair or workaround?

Hi,

I've started using my old C500 again, but rather annoyingly the right softkey doesn't work at all (this was a slowly developing fault, but it hasn't worked in months). Is it likely to be easy to fix myself if I take the phone apart? Alternatively, is there any way of effectively using the phone (esp for web browsing) without being able to use this key?!
