problem with tranferring file with ftp client [c500]

hi!

I installed orneta ftp client and successfully get connected to server.

I can browse the content of that server, but while copying photo from my spv c500 onto the server, I get error ("exception format").

I figured it out that it's caused by the different file format (I know - it's still normal .jpg file, but don't jpg files from smartphone differ from normal windows jpg files?).

If I'm right, can anyone tell me how to change the format of that photo to compatible windows format?

If I'm wrong, tell me what to do to be able to copy photos from my spv c500 onto the sever please!!
