Guest Shiraz Posted May 14, 2006 Report Posted May 14, 2006 Hey, thanks for looking at this topic and trying to help me. At the momment, i own a motorola mpx200, with a 512mb memory card, which is an sd card. I have 300 mb free and 200 mb used. When i try to upload songs around 2-5 mb it says the memory card is full! But when i upload images (around 25kb) its fine! Please help me guys, im not sure what is going on?!
Guest Shiraz Posted May 14, 2006 Report Posted May 14, 2006 This could be the problem, i have no idea what it is. Its an error which says "Synchronization cannot be completed because your personal information manager (PIM) cannot be accessed. Ensure your PIM program is running, and try to synchronize again." Any idea what this is?
Guest awarner (MVP) Posted May 14, 2006 Report Posted May 14, 2006 I presume you are using a card reader? What make is the card? One thing to try is to save all the files from the card to the PC then format the card and start again.
Guest Shiraz Posted May 14, 2006 Report Posted May 14, 2006 Im using a usb to connect the phone with the PC and the card is a SD card.
Guest awarner (MVP) Posted May 14, 2006 Report Posted May 14, 2006 Use a card reader and not the phone to transfer the files to the card. Activesync is not the best option for trying to move large ammounts of files. As for the card, I know what type it is but what is the actual make of it? ie sandisk, kingston etc.
Guest Shiraz Posted May 17, 2006 Report Posted May 17, 2006 (edited) Thanks for the help. I managed to fix the problem by creating a new folder and placing files inside that. Edited May 17, 2006 by Shiraz
