C500 taking Video, says not enough memory help plze

Hi this is my first post but I have had my Orange C500 for about 18 months, just recently when I have tried to use the video camera facility it says not enough memory. I have a 256mb storage card in which is virtually empty, it shows I can record 188 mins of video, there is hardly anything saved on the internal memory and I have it set to record the video to the storage card. Anybody have any ideas whats gone wrong, I dont really want to hard reset it as I always tend to have problems when I do that, but if it is the only option then I will, just wondered if anyone else was having a similar problem

Hi Thanks for the speedy response, I have just tried that but it doesnt seem to have made any difference, it still says the same, do you have any other ideas or know of any other threads relating to this, I did try a seartch before but didnt find anything (must have used the wrong phrasing)
