Guest Doka Posted May 14, 2006 Report Posted May 14, 2006 i just upgraded from a smt 5600 to an ipac 6515 and few thing bug me about the ipac; 1. from the today screen i cant just start dialing, i have to open contacts first, search for contact, then choose number to call. I thought the smt5600 was much easier to call with. 2. when someone text messages me a phone number i cant hjighlight it and call from there. I could with the smt5600. i cant even copy it and paste it into the dialer :P ;) 4. there is no voice dialing fom the ipac, why not... so handy when using my bluetooth headset. This one really ppisses me off ;) 5. battery life....
Guest jimbouk Posted May 14, 2006 Report Posted May 14, 2006 (edited) I don't know the device personally but it has green call and red end call keys. Surely you can just push the green key to initiate the phone app and find contact/start a call? Similarly if you receive a text. can you not just push the green call key whilst reading the text and get a call number option? Thirdly - install MS Voice Command and remap the camera key to voice command and hey presto... Edited May 14, 2006 by jimbouk
Guest Doka Posted May 14, 2006 Report Posted May 14, 2006 oh yeah and i task, it is so handy on my other ppc hp 5455. why take away these great features. Thanks i will look at the ms voice command But for the text messages, i have an answering service for my business after hours and they text me from their computers client name and phone number along with a short message. from the smt 5600 you could easily highlight the number from within the text and press send, with the hp you can only dial the number that sent you the text, not the number IN the text ;)
Guest Doka Posted May 14, 2006 Report Posted May 14, 2006 question about MS Voice Command can i use the answer/end button my bluetooth headset to initiate voice commands?
