Guest Sonnydav Posted May 14, 2006 Report Posted May 14, 2006 I've had my 2125 for over a month and have been able to access the internet with no problem. However, I was having a problem with sending emails and tried to correct. Somehow, I messed up the connections and now when I try to access a web site, I get a message "unable to place call". I cannot access internet or email. Help!
Guest kam_ Posted May 15, 2006 Report Posted May 15, 2006 (edited) I've had my 2125 for over a month and have been able to access the internet with no problem. However, I was having a problem with sending emails and tried to correct. Somehow, I messed up the connections and now when I try to access a web site, I get a message "unable to place call". I cannot access internet or email. Help! It sounds like you set the default internet access to CSD. Go to start -> settings -> connections -> dialup you'll have some entry in there, right softkey -> edit make sure it doesn't say internet. then go to Start -> settings -> connections -> GPRS Find your GPRS settings it should be using, right soft key -> edit, make sure it says internet. Launch IE, go to Right softkey -> options -> connections, make sure automatically detect is ticked. OR untick automatic and select internet. Alternatively you can call your provider and double check them. Edited May 15, 2006 by kam_
