Guest shivsharma Posted May 14, 2006 Report Posted May 14, 2006 I just bought a qtek 8310 and upgraded to the latest ROM. When I lock the keypad (hold "end" button) the display goes blank some time after. No problem there cause it saves the battery life (the screen goes blank even though under power management I have display timeout set to never and home screen time out is set to never also. Here's the problem, the phone "freezes" in that if I press a button the keypad will light up, the keys do not respond (the green led flashes like normal) BUT THE SCREEN DOES NOT REACTIVE! This happens every time the screen times out for a while. When I try to call the phone when it is in this state it just rings then goes to vmail. I end up having to remove the battery then reboot. HELP!!
